Hurricane Katrina Relief Information
We have provided some information below if you would like to lend your support
to those affected by this tragedy. By making a financial gift to Hurricane 2005
Relief, the Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling, and other assistance
to those in need.
Donations can be made by check to local Red Cross chapters or to the:

You can also call 1-800-HELP NOW or make contributions by visiting
www.redcross.org. Donations can be earmarked specifically for the Hurricane
2005 Relief Fund or National Disaster Relief Fund.
At this time, the Red Cross is discouraging donations of collected goods and
items for disaster relief. They have stated that it is more helpful for them to
receive monetary contributions, which will enable them to support the greatest
needs in the most efficient manner. Monetary contributions can be used to
purchase items in adjacent staging areas and eliminate the added costs involved
in sorting, transporting and distributing goods and items to the disaster area.
