- Detachable vibrating remote control w/ failsafe video sync detect circuit, including end of memory & low
battery warning. - Internal Lithium Ion battery powers the STING™ series.
- Removable Micro Drive, CF or SD cards can be switched with a spare in seconds when memory is full.
- 5V DC output to power our Button Cams, Screw Cams, Necklace Cams etc., directly off the STING™
internal battery. - Trigger input for motion detection devices.

- Composite video input with support for PAL and NTSC (all Models)
- Video output, which can be switched between live monitor view and recorded playback (STING II only)
- Media files can also be viewed on a PC - using any standard Window Media Players*
- MPEG-2 video compression in full D1 format and compression, supporting up to 8 mbit/sec video bit
rate - Water mark: Media files have an embedded signature to verify that no tampering has occurred
(STANDARD ON MINI and STING II) - Encryption: An option exists for media files to be encrypted with a user-generated software key.
These files are viewable on board with a password, or with a PC player after decryption (STANDARD
ON MINI and STING II) - Recording in time lapse mode
